We warmly invite you to join us for our Prayer Walks every Saturday in October, except the last Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to noon to strengthen community bonds through prayer.

Meet us in the foyer at 10:00 a.m. before heading out into our neighborhood.

This is a wonderful opportunity to involve yourself in our community through prayer and share in the upcoming Fall events, making a meaningful difference together.

Attention all children and youth ministry leaders! We invite you to an important training session on Sunday, October 11th, immediately after the service in the Fellowship Hall.

This training is vital for new volunteers and provides a valuable refresher for our existing team members. It also plays a crucial role in our ECAP accreditation process, where we will cover essential rules and regulations related to child safety.

A light lunch will be served.

Attention all choir members! We warmly invite you to a special rehearsal for the Christmas cantata on Saturday, October 24th, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Music Suite. Your voice is essential, and this session will help us create a magical experience together! Don’t miss out!

Join our Widow and Widower Support Group, a caring community for those navigating the journey of loss. We meet on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Volunteer Room, where you can find understanding and companionship. Riverside Baptist Church partners with Samaritan’s Purse to take the Good News to the ends of the earth, doing so through a shoebox.

Every gift-filled shoebox is a tool for evangelism and discipleship for a local church around the world. Keep in mind, the shoebox a child receives may be their only gift. Your involvement in this campaign can truly transform their life.

If you’re unsure how to pack a shoebox, detailed instructions are available online at Samaritan’s Purse or by picking up a brochure in the Foyer.

Please label the box with the age and gender it’s intended for; labels are available in the Foyer.

Please remember not to include soap, candy, toothpaste, gum, used or damaged items, scary or war-related items, seeds, food, liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins, breakable items or glass containers, or aerosol cans.

A $10 donation per shoebox is critical to help cover the costs of collecting, processing, shipping, evangelism training, and materials. You can also give online through Samaritan’s Purse and Follow Your Box to see where your gift goes.

Remember, we will be collecting shoeboxes at Riverside until Sunday, November 8th.
