Ordination Service
As mentioned in the Bible, “ordained” refers to
being appointed or set apart by God for a specific
purpose or role, often in the context of
leadership and ministry. The Pastoral Ordination
Council and the church have confirmed that
Nicholas Noyola has been called for such a
purpose. Mark your calendars for Sunday, March
1st, and join us at Riverside at 6:00 p.m. to
witness Nicholas Noyola’s ordination to the
Pastoral Ministry.
Lord’s Supper
Sunday, March 8th, we will joyfully celebrate the
Lord’s Supper during the English Worship
Service. The Lord’s Supper, a sacred and unifying
ritual, will be celebrated at the end of the service.
Also, it’s important to remember that when we
celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we also collect for
our Pastor’s Discretionary Fund (PDF). This fund
is a vital part of our community, supporting
those who need a little help.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School will be held on June 8th through June 12th from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
Our theme this year is “Illumination Station.”
Culture claims to know about Jesus, but many people are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history or a good man or a good teacher—but He is more than that!
This summer, VBS will shine a light on the truth of who Jesus really is. Kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark
world! Like the disciples, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” They will discover it’s not a matter of opinion. Jesus is who Scripture says He is—the perfect, proven, and powerful Son of God.
Adult and Youth volunteers (completed 7th through 12th grade) will be needed. Youth volunteer forms must be turned in by Friday, May 15th. Youth volunteer forms received after the 15th will go on a waiting list.
Adult and youth volunteers must attend two meetings: Saturday, May 16th, (9:00am to noon) and Friday, June 5th (7pm). If you cannot participate in one of the meetings, please contact Kara Cordoba.
Pre-registration and volunteer acceptance begin on Sunday, March 29th, and will run through Sunday, May 24th.
