English Worship Service

Our English Worship Service, led by Pastor Otto, meets on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in the Worship Center and on YouTube.

Pastor Otto’s current sermon series is “Christian Conduct in a Corrupt Culture: A Study on the Book of 1 Corinthians, Part 1.” The series is as follows:

  • June 8th: “Should I Marry,” 1 Corinthians 7:1-9
  • June 22nd: “Can a Christian Divorce” 1 Corinthians 7:10-24
  • June 29th: “The Single Christian” 1 Corinthians 7:25-40
  • July 6th: “Limiting Your Freedoms” 1 Corinthians 8:1-13

Spanish Service:
Our Spanish Worship Service, led by Pastor Jamil, meets on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Their Connect Groups gather at 9:30 a.m. in the East Wing.

Portuguese Service:
Our Portuguese Worship Service, led by Pastor Jamil, meets on Sundays at
12:30 p.m. in the Chapel.

High School Graduation Sunday

Join us in celebrating our high school graduates on Sunday, June 1st! Let’s come together to honor our students and acknowledge their hard work as they reach this important milestone in their lives. Your presence will make this day even more special!

Lord’s Supper:

Sunday, June 8th, and Sunday, July 6th, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper during the English Worship Service. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at the end of the service. Also, please remember that when we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we have an opportunity to contribute to our Pastor’s Discretionary Fund. This fund, which supports those in our community who need a little help

VBS Celebration Sunday

Join us for our VBS Celebration on Sunday, June 15th! The entire family will be able to participate in the exciting and memorable experience that your child was a part of the previous week. We’re all eagerly waiting to find out who wins the 20th Annual “Give-Off” contest-it’s going to be a thrilling moment for all of us! Please join us in the Fellowship Hall before the service for a Continental Breakfast commencing at 10:00 AM. Everyone involved in VBS, volunteers, and children should wear their VBS t-shirts. Since this is Father’s Day, we will also take a moment to honor and express our gratitude to our fathers. Their love and support are invaluable, and we look forward to celebrating them on this special day..

Vacation Bible School
VBS theme this year is “Magnified!” Magnified!™ will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify or proclaim the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God! Don’t miss out!

Ladies Summer Bible Study

Our Ladies’ Summer Bible Study will be on Tuesday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., June 17th through July 29th. Our study, “He Speaks to Me” by Priscilla Shirer, will be facilitated by Pat Riverside Baptist Church Volume 2, Issue 6 June/July 2025 Happening @ Riverside Eskolin and Isabel Huergo-Jones. How can I position myself to hear God’s Voice? In this study, Priscilla Shirer shows us how God spoke to Samuel and how He speaks to Christians today. The cost is $25.00 for the book (paid for in the first class). So we can adequately prepare, please sign up in the Foyer. Y

Young Adult Bible Study

Join our vibrant community of young adults as we gather off-premises on the first Monday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to deepen our faith and build lasting connections. We’re more than just a group, we’re a community. We’ll explore “The Mind of Christ” and uncover how to live with intention and spiritual clarity. Widow and Widower Support Group
Join our Widow and Widower Support Group, a caring community for those navigating the journey of loss. We meet on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Volunteer Room, where you can find understanding and companionship. You don’t
have to face this alone—come and connect with others who share your experience. For more details or to ask any questions, please contact

Boston Mission Trip

Our mission team will be in Boston from July 13th to July 19th, where they will be conducting a community VBS. We greatly appreciate your prayers for the team’s success during this important mission. On Sunday, June 29th, we have a special opportunity to support our mission team through a Hotdog Box To-Go fundraiser. Your participation will directly contribute to the success of the mission trip. You can pick up a box at the Gazebo on your way home or enjoy it in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you for your support!

Our Connect Groups meet on Sunday mornings at
9:30 a.m. We offer classes for all ages, from infants to adults. If you are not currently part of a Connect Group, we encourage you to join one.

Our Coed Exercise and Fellowship Class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Warehouse and on Friday via Zoom. It is an exercise program developed specifically for mature participants. It is designed to be socially stimulating while focusing on areas of recognized importance for mature participants.

Heart and Hands, our Tuesday gathering, is more than just a project. It’s an opportunity for all ages to come together and make a real difference. By assisting with projects that advance God’s
Kingdom, we’re reaching out with heart and hands to meet the needs of others near and far. Your participation is not just appreciated, it’s vital to our mission.

The Chosen is a discipleship class for girls in 6th through 12th grade. It meets on Tuesday nights from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Warehouse. Please bring a Bible and a journal. For questions or

Face-to-Face Women’s Bible Study meets every other Tuesday night from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Room 204. This Bible study is open to all women participating in the Mentor/Mentee program,
regardless of age, as we explore the Word of God together. Currently, they are studying “Elizabeth and Mary,” and the group is led by Sherri Beall.

The Men’s Ministry, a Tuesday night tradition in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m., is more than just
a gathering. It’s a platform for engaging discussions on topics that matter to us today. From faith to family, we cover it all. For more information, contact Lannes Whitelock at 305-519-3060. (Please note at the present time the group is studying the “Mind of Christ.”)

Our weekly Church Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. and is a time when we come together corporately for prayer. We meet via Zoom. Call the church office for the meeting ID to join us.

Our Young Adults group (high school graduates, college students, and young married couples up to age 29) meets on Wednesday nights from 8:00 to 9:00 pm at the Warehouse (our free-standing building, 10250 SW 107 AVE) for fellowship, Bible study, and worship.

Our Women’s Bible Study is for women of all ages. It meets off-premises on Friday mornings from 10:00 a.m. until noon. The group studies various books of the Bible and has group discussions.
Betty Rodriguez leads the study. Contact the church office for the location or additional information.

Our Children in Action meets on Friday nights in The Dock (Room 215) for children aged 5 to 5th grade. Trace it back to just the facts! The evidence is clear. The proof is all right here! Join us as we discover and explore Jesus working in our world.

The Riverside Students Ministry meets on Friday nights at The Warehouse and is for students in 6th-12th grade. Students will have a time of fellowship, games, singing, and a sermon on relevant topics for today’s youth.

RCS Magnified Summer Camp

Infants through Second Grade Open 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. June 16th to August 6th

Children in Action (CIA) Summer Fun

Children in Action (for children aged 5 through 5th grade) meets on Friday nights from 7:00- 8:30 p.m. in the Dock (room 215). We invite you and your friends to join us.

Also, please join us for our FREE Summer Special Events:

  • Game Night, June 20th, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
  • Movie Night, July 11th, 7:00-9:00 p.m. (Movie to be determined)
  • Water Day, July 26th, 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Fun, Fellowship, and Water Games. Due to Water Day, we will not meet on Friday, July 25th.


CIA will NOT meet on June 6th, June 13th, July 4th, and July 18th.

Couples Ministry Fellowship

All Married and Engaged Couples are invited to our Summer Couples Fellowship on Saturday, June 28th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The theme of our program is “His Power in Us.” Please bring a summer dish to share. Please sign up in the Foyer by Sunday, June 22nd, so we can adequately prepare. Independence Day, July 4th

Independence Day, also known as July 4th, is a significant day in our country’s history. It marks the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776, 249 years ago, when the United States declared independence from Great Britain.

As we celebrate Independence Day, our church and Riverside Christian Summer Camp will be closed on Friday, July 4th.

Quarterly Business Meeting

Our Quarterly Business Meeting will occur on Sunday, July 27th, following our worship service in the Worship Center. All members are encouraged to attend. We will elect a Trustee-at-Large member at the meeting to take office on October 1st, 2025.
