About Us

Riverside organized as a church in the Riverside area near downtown Miami on October 13, 1921. The church remained downtown for over fifty years and experienced tremendous growth through the 1960's. A demographic shift in the late 1960's caused a decline in church membership and the congregation faced the difficult decision of moving from its downtown location into the suburb of Kendall, our present location, in 1974. Today, Riverside is a multi-cultural congregation whose members come from many nations speaking various languages. We are a microcosm of our community and we are devoted to reaching our community and city for Christ, one person at a time.
Our Mission Riverside exists to INVITE people to Christ, to GROW them in Christ and to SEND them for Christ. Our Vision describes how we seek to accomplish this.		Our Values As a family of followers of Christ, we will be Christ Centered, Grace Filled, Bible Based and Mission Minded. Read more>>
